1 Campus Integrity

Campus Integrity

KKTC upholds a community founded on honesty, mutual respect, and Christian values. Every student is expected to uphold these standards at all times.

Christian Values Students are expected to maintain honesty, respect for others, and conduct becoming of a disciple of Christ in all aspects of college life.
Prohibited Conduct Theft, plagiarism, examination malpractice, and any form of misconduct are strictly prohibited within and outside the campus.
Consequences Serious violations of campus integrity may result in suspension or expulsion, in accordance with the Disciplinary Procedures.
2 Dress Code

Dress Code

Formal dress reflects the dignity of theological study and worship. Students must dress appropriately in all institutional settings.

3 Academic Life

Academic Life

Academic excellence is a core expectation. Students are required to maintain regular attendance and follow proper leave procedures.

Attendance

Minimum 75% Attendance Required Students failing to maintain 75% attendance may be barred from writing semester examinations.

Leave Procedure

Permission is Required for Any Absence Prior approval must be obtained and communicated to the Class Tutor, Hostel Warden, and Vice Principal before taking leave.

4 Library Guidelines

Library Guidelines

The library is a sacred space for scholarship. All students are required to follow library protocols to maintain an environment of focused study.

Student Responsibilities

Maintain SilenceNo conversations, phone use, or noise inside the library at any time.
Sign the Library RegisterStudents must sign in upon arrival and sign out when leaving.
Attend Compulsory Library HoursAttendance during designated study hours is mandatory for all students.
Return Books on TimeAll borrowed materials must be returned by the due date to avoid fines.

5 Spiritual Life

Spiritual Life

Spiritual formation is the heart of seminary life. Regular participation in devotional activities is compulsory for all students.

6 Worship Attendance

Worship Attendance

Gathering together in worship is foundational to seminary community life. All students are expected to attend and participate actively.

Chapel Attendance is Compulsory All students must attend daily Morning Devotion, Evening Devotion, and Sunday Worship services. Absence without valid reason will attract fines.
Holy Communion Students are expected to participate in Holy Communion services held regularly as part of the seminary liturgical calendar.
Special Services & Retreats Attendance at special services, retreats, quiet days, and Diocesan worship events is part of holistic spiritual formation.
7 Field Education

Field Education

Field Education is compulsory for all BD students and forms an integral part of ministerial formation through practical engagement.

Mission WorkEngaging with communities for evangelism and gospel proclamation.
Outreach MinistryCommunity outreach, social service, and village ministry assignments.
Church MinistryPractical assignments in local CSI parishes under senior presbyters.

8 Hostel Life

Hostel Life

Residential life is a vital aspect of theological education. Students are required to maintain cleanliness, order, and respect for hostel regulations.

Maintain CleanlinessRooms and common areas must be kept clean at all times. Untidiness will be noted.
Respect Hostel TimingsStudents must strictly adhere to gate opening and closing times.
Obtain Permission Before Staying OutAny overnight absence requires written permission from the Hostel Warden and Vice Principal.

Married Student's Hostel

The college provides dedicated accommodation for married students and their families, supporting a wholesome residential life for all.

Family AccommodationDesignated quarters are available for married students with spouses and children, subject to availability and college approval.
Community ResponsibilityMarried student families are expected to participate in community life and uphold hostel standards alongside single students.
Same Rules ApplyAll hostel rules, gate timings, and prohibited activities apply equally to married students and their family members on campus.
10 Fellowship Groups

Fellowship Groups

Small group fellowships form the relational backbone of seminary community life, fostering pastoral care, prayer, and mutual accountability.

Prayer FellowshipsSmall groups meeting weekly for intercessory prayer, scripture sharing, and mutual encouragement.
Study CirclesPeer-led study groups supporting each other in theological reflection and academic assignments.
Cultural CelebrationsGroups celebrating regional festivals, Christmas programmes, and community cultural events together.
Student GatheringsRegular informal meetups for community bonding, recreation, and shared activities beyond the classroom.
11 Sports & House Activities

Sports and House Activities

Physical wellness and teamwork are integral to holistic formation. The college encourages all students to participate in sports and house competitions.

Annual Sports DayStudents compete in track events, field games, and relay races as part of the annual inter-house sports meet.
Court & Field SportsVolleyball, badminton, cricket, and football facilities are available on campus for regular recreational use.
House SystemStudents are assigned to houses that compete throughout the year in academics, sports, and cultural activities for the House Shield.
Indoor RecreationIndoor games including chess, carrom, and table tennis are available for leisure and mental recreation.

13 Financial Procedures

Financial Procedures

All financial obligations must be met promptly. Fines and fees are an important part of maintaining discipline and institutional sustainability.

Timely Fee PaymentAll academic fees, hostel charges, and other dues must be paid by the prescribed deadlines each semester.
Fine PaymentDisciplinary, library, hostel, and attendance fines must be settled promptly. Unpaid fines may affect examination eligibility.
Receipt for All PaymentsStudents must obtain official receipts for all payments made to the college office and retain them for records.
Scholarship & AidStudents eligible for scholarships or financial aid must apply through the college office with the required documentation.
14 Disciplinary Procedures

Disciplinary Procedures

The college follows a graduated disciplinary framework designed to correct, restore, and—where necessary—protect the community from serious misconduct.

Written WarningA formal written notice issued for a first violation or minor misconduct.

Written Apology + ₹500 FineA signed apology letter submitted to the principal along with a monetary fine.

Examination Debarment + ₹750 FineStudent is barred from writing semester examinations and required to pay a fine.

One Semester Suspension + ₹1,000 FineStudent is suspended for an entire semester and fined accordingly.

One Academic Year Suspension + ₹2,000 FineStudent is suspended for a full academic year with a significant fine.

ExpulsionPermanent removal from the college for the most serious violations of community standards.
